COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – February is American Heart Health Month, which is designed to raise awareness that heart disease is the number one health threat to women.
Along those lines, ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital will be participating in the National Wear Red Day next Friday, February 7.
National Wear Red Day is a day when Americans nationwide wear red to show their support for women’s heart disease awareness.
Hospital employees will be doing their part by wearing red clothing.
Heart disease affects one in three female adults and continues to be the leading cause of death in women, claiming over 459,000 women in the U.S. each year.
