CAMDEN, MI. – (WTVB) – Two girls who were the subject of an AMBER Alert out of Defiance County, Ohio were found safe and sound Sunday night at a home near Camden.
WTOL-TV reports the series of events started in Ney, Ohio where 33-year-old Dustin Vogelsong is accused of killing another man during a domestic dispute.
He then took his seven- and three-year-old daughters from the home.
Police issued an all points bulletin for Vogelsong’s vehicle.
WTOL reports a bloodied Vogelsong left the girls at a strangers’ home on North Edon Road north of Camden before driving off again.
Vogelsong was later arrested in Williams County, Ohio and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
