RICHLAND, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater plays Battle Creek Lakeview for the second time this season Wednesday night in the semifinals of the girls basketball Division One districts at Gull Lake.
The two teams met at Lakeview December 10, 2019, with the Spartans pulling out a 45-44 victory thanks to a late basket by Brazil Watkins. Lakeview is 15-6 after they defeated Gull Lake 55-50 on Monday night and are the top seed for the district tournament.
Coldwater drew a bye in the first round and will bring a 8-12 record into the ballgame.

In the Division Three Districts at Bronson, the host Bronson Vikings (13-8) take on Union City (2-16) in the first game at 5:30 p.m. followed by top seeded Quincy (14-6) against Homer (4-16).
The winners play for the district title Friday night at 6:00 p.m. for the right to move on to the Regional at Brooklyn Columbia Central next week.
