COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Corrections posted on its web site Saturday that seven prisoners at the Lakeview Correcitonal Facility in Coldwater have tested positive for COVID-19 which is an increase from four that was reported Friday.
The seven Lakeland prisoners are among 58 prisoners in Michigan prison facilities who have tested positive for coronavirus.
The MDOC says there have been 20 positive tests at the Parnall Correctional Facility in Jackson and 16 at the Macomb Correctional Facility.
There were also seven cases reported at the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility.
