COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency reported Monday an increase in the number of local COVID-19 cases.
There are now 13 positive cases in Hillsdale County with one death while St. Joseph County now has three positive cases.
There were also eight positive cases at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater.
The Calhoun County Health Department reported at midday on Monday 17 positive cases of COVID-19 in their county with 88 negative tests and results from 59 other tests still pending.
The total number of cases statewide as of 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon stood at 6,498 with 184 deaths attributed to the pandemic.
The Community Health Agency is asking anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 to self isolate for 14 days. Anyone who has been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 should self quarantine for two weeks and monitor themselves for fever, cough and shortness of breath.
