COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Community Foundation Board of Directors has announced that current Foundation Program Officer Erica Heminger has been selected as their new Executive Director.
Heminger succeeds Colleen Knight who announced in January that she would be leaving as Executive Director after 22 years to pursue new career opportunities.
A press release from the Foundation stated that Heminger has worked at the Community Foundation for the past three years. Besides working with donors, she also has assisted with the grant review and scholarship process within the foundation and assisted the foundation in meeting its accreditation requirements.
Heminger will begin her new role April 20, 2020.
Foundation Board Chair Connie Winbigler says Knight, “leaves our foundation in a strong position, poised for increased impact throughout the region. We will miss her but are also excited about our future role.”
