COLDWATER, MI. – (WTVB) – The number of positive COVID-19 cases at the Lakeland Correctional Facility has increased to 17.
The Michigan Department of Corrections posted the updated information on its web site on Thursday morning.
The M.D.O.C. says there are now 163 coronavirus cases in nine M.D.O.C. facilities around the state.
Parnall Correctional Facility near Jackson have the most cases in the Michigan prison system with 70.
Macomb Correctional Facility had 42 cases followed by Lakeland with 17, the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility with 15 and the Detroit Reentry Center with 10.
