DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – Detroit Astros pitcher Justin Verlander and his wife Kate Upton announced on Twitter and Instagram they are teaming up with Bella+Canvas for 25,000 protective masks for the Detroit Police Department.
Verlander pitched 11 years for the Tigers before being traded to Houston in August 2017. Upton is a native of St. Joseph, Michigan.
