MONROE, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County United Way is one of five United Ways in Michigan that are getting charitable donations from Michigan Gas Utilities.
The donations will go towards helping area nonprofit organizations provide care and support for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funds will be put into each chapter’s Emergency Response Fund and will be distributed to non profit organizations helping those impacted by COVID-19.
The parent company for Michigan Gas Utilities, WEC Energy Group, is donating more than $2 million to COVID-19 relief efforts.
