HOLLAND, MI (WTVB) – The ADDIX All-Star football game that was to have been played at Hope College in Holland was canceled by organizers on Tuesday due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The game features the best football players in west Michigan.
Among those scheduled to compete in this year’s game from Branch County were Austin Santure and Zach Tong from Coldwater and Evan Coon from Quincy.
Other area players who were scheduled to play were Mykel Warren of Tekonsha; Jonathan West, Austin Stoll and Phillip Alva from Colon; Logyn Miller and Matt Hutton from Constantine along with Hunter Duke and Tristan Morton from Litchfield
In lieu of the money that would have been raised from the game for Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids, ADDIX has donated $5,000 to the charity.
