STEUBEN COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A Hillsdale County man was still being held in the Steuben County Jail on Thursday morning after he was apprehended Tuesday in downtown Fremont, Indiana while he was allegedly in possession of a pipe bomb on his motorcycle.
32-year-old Arvil Bryant, Junior of Litchfield was wanted on Hillsdale County and federal warrants.
Hillsdale County Sheriff Scott Hodshire says in a statement, “We would like to alert the public to a multi state investigation that was recently successfully conducted with the assistance of our state and Federal Law Enforcement partners.”
The Herald Republican in Angola said Bryant was wanted on seven felony charges including six weapons counts. The newspaper reported the charges included a count of possession of explosives with unlawful intent.
The Herald Republican also reported Bryant was being held on a $295,000 bond pending extradition.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office along with the Michigan State Police, the Indiana State Police, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and Fremont Police were all involved in the arrest.
