BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Some parts of Branch County got a significant amount of rain on Sunday while other parts stayed dry.
The Michigan State University Extension Service weather station at the Bloom Dairy Farm reported 1.45 inches of rain Sunday. That included just over an inch of rain that was measured between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m..
The National Weather Service issued a Flood Advisory for the western half of Branch County for several hours on Sunday evening when a second round of rain was indicated on Doppler radar.
But there were portions of Branch County where residents said they didn’t get a drop of rain.
More showers and thundershowers are in the forecast for the next couple of days with cooler conditions moving in on Tuesday.
