QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A fire that broke out in an unoccupied dwelling in the Village of Quincy late Sunday night is not considered to be suspicious in nature.
Quincy firefighters were dispatched to the fire at 20 Wood Avenue at around 11:00 p.m..
Quincy Police Chief Jeremy Burch says the home had been under construction for the last year-and-a-half and had been vacant for the last few years.
Firefighters were on the scene for nearly four hours.
Quincy fire officials say more information will be released after the investigation is complete.
