QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy School Superintendent Marc Kramer told the district’s Board of Education on Monday night that 160 students have enrolled in the fully virtual program the district is offering for the upcoming school year.
Kramer said that number included 70 elementary students.
He added in his report they were looking at different options to hold some virtual open houses before classes start since it’s not recommended to have visitors in school buildings with Michigan still in Stage Four of its reopening.
Kramer also reported that the Quincy High School graduation has been scheduled for June 13, 2021.
The board formally approved the revised school calendar for 2020-2021 as the start of the school year has been pushed back to September 8.
The dates for the Christmas and Spring breaks will stay the same.
The last day of classes for Quincy students will be on June 15, 2021.
