ALBION, MI (WTVB/WNWN) – The City of Albion is once again looking for a City Manager.
The Albion City Council approved a separation agreement with Darwin McClary on Monday night as he turned in his resignation.
He had been on the job for less than a year.
The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the separation agreement puts neither McClary nor the city at fault for his employment coming to an end.
In addition, McClary and the City Council agreed not to make any disparaging comments about each other.
Council members were apparently unhappy with McClary’s lack of communication with them and they felt he was not visible enough in the community.
