COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency reported Tuesday that a tenth person has died in St. Joseph County after testing positive for COVID-19.
It was also the 37th COVID-19 related death in the C.H.A.’s jurisdiction. Hillsdale County has had 25 deaths while Branch County’s death toll outside of the Lakeland Correctional Facility has been at two for over four months.
The C.H.A. says St. Joseph County has had 554 positive COVID-19 cases since March which was 200 more cases than in Branch County.
Branch County has had 354 cases after a new one was reported on Tuesday.
No new cases were reported in Hillsdale County on Tuesday as 262 cases have been reported in that county since the start of the pandemic.
