COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a crash involving two watercraft that took place on Friday evening on Long Lake.
It happened at about 6:00 p.m. when the Sheriff’s Department was told a jet ski hit a ski boat and took off.
The jet ski was driven by a 23-year-old man from Warsaw, Indiana and it was located within minutes of the call as it was being put on a lift on the west side of Coldwater Lake.
The boat which was struck was towing a wake boarder at the time.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
