COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council has scheduled a public hearing during their next meeting on September 28 on an application for a Commercial Rehabilitation Exemption Certificate for Doctor Baron Whateley’s new dentist office at 152 Division Street which is where the old Dairy Queen store used to be located at.
City Assessor Deb Sikorski said during Monday’s City Council meeting that this was the first application following the establishment last November of a Commercial Rehabilitation District.
The overall investment is estimated in the amount of just over $680,000
The request is for an exemption from taxation on certain property.
Wild Smile Properties, LLC plans to create an additional three positions and potentially retain ten positions within the jurisdiction over the next two years.
