STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency has announced that there will be a free Drive-Thru COVID-19 testing event for Michigan residents on Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Maple Crest Plaza in Sturgis.
Just like at earlier events, testing will be available to Michigan residents with or without symptoms on a first come, first served basis.
Those getting tested are asked to bring their identification.
Minors can be tested if they are calm and with a parent. The State of Michigan is covering the cost of testing at this event.
Insurance is not required and no insurance cards will be requested. Nasopharyngeal tests will be administered to determine whether persons currently have COVID-19. Antibody testing will NOT be done at this event.
This event is supported by the Michigan National Guard, Michigan State Police, the M.D.H.H.S. and the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency.
