BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Officials in the Bronson School district announced on Tuesday that they have been notified of four students who have tested positive for COVID-19 at Bronson Junior and Senior High School.
According to a post on the district’s Facebook page, the students who have tested positive and those within close contact which is defined as someone who has been within six feet for 15 minutes or more will need to be quarantined for 14 days under the guidance of the Branch-St Joseph-Hillsdale Community Health Agency.
Officials say the staff is working through contact tracing protocols to identify students who will need to be quarantined and those households will be contacted directly by the school.
They add the district is working quickly and carefully with the Community Health Agency to follow all protocols to keep students safe. The district is asking parents and guardians to work with them by screening your child for symptoms each morning, per the signed Bronson Community Schools agreement.
