COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Police say a 64-year-old woman escaped with minor injuries on Monday afternoon after her vehicle was T-boned at the intersection of State and Grand on the city’s north side.
The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m..
Police say a 57-year-old man who was the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident was cited for failure to stop for a stop sign.
The unidentified woman had to be freed from her vehicle by Coldwater firefighters. As a precaution, she was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
Coldwater Police are still investigating the crash.
Traffic at the intersection of State and Grand was tied up for nearly an hour.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police assisted with traffic control.
