COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch Intermediate School District Directors will soon be getting a title changes.
BISD Superintendent Kris Jenkins told the District’s Board of Education on Wednesday that the Directors of the various departments will be known in the future as Assistant Superintendents.
She said this does not affect their budget and there is no monetary change. It is strictly a title change.
Jenkins first brought up title changes last year but it fell off the radar when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
The BISD Board held its first in person meeting since last February on Wednesday at the Waldron Center cafeteria which provided plenty of room for social distancing. COVID-19 protocols were also in place such as hand sanitizers at each table.
The Board plans to again meet again in person next month.
