JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School boys varsity soccer team picked their first Interstate 8 Conference win of the year Thursday, with a 1-0 shutout at Jackson Lumen Christi.
The game’s lone goal came from Brayden Boyd, assisted by Naj Norman, with 24:34 to play in the game. Michael Orozco-Aburto made three saves in goal as Coldwater outshot Lumen Christi 12-6.
With the win, the Cardinals improve to 2-3 on the season, and with host non-conference for DeWitt Saturday. The junior varsity match begins at 11:00 a.m., with the varsity following around 12:30 p.m.
