COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Tibbits Opera House has not had an in person event since Comedy Fest on March 14 because of the COVID-19 pandemic but that will change on Halloween Night.
The Tibbits will host Monster Fest that evening with a limited capacity and COVID-19 protocols in place.
Monster Fest will feature two Halloween cartoon shorts and the 1993 film “A Nightmare Before Christmas” starting at 7:00 p.m..
Under the new Executive Order by Governor Whitmer, the Tibbits along with other theaters in Michigan are allowed to open at 20 percent capacity. Admission to this event will be limited.
Presale tickets are $8 each; any remaining tickets will be sold at the door at $10 each.
Even though these are listed as general admission tickets, Tibbits staff will be creating a socially-distanced seating chart; some seats will be roped off and unavailable in order to adhere to social distancing.
Seating for this event will begin at 6:15 pm. Concessions, including alcoholic beverages, will be available for purchase.
Wearing a mask will be among the protocols patrons are being asked to follow.
