COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The cause of a fire which caused about $6,000 worth of damage Saturday afternoon at a residence west of Coldwater is under investigation.
The Coldwater Fire Department was dispatched at 3:29 p.m. to 375 Rohloff Drive which is just north of the Branch County Memorial Airport.
Coldwater Fire Marshall Steve Trall says the fire at the Heidi Porter property started and was contained to a garage converted to a bedroom on the south side of the home.
The estimated losses are $5,000 for the structure and $1,000 for the contents.
No injuries were reported. Automatic mutual aide was provided by the Quincy Fire Department. Lifecare Ambulance and Michigan Gas were also at the scene.
