BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 54-year-old woman from Battle Creek sustained life threatening injuries on Sunday afternoon when her motorcycle was struck by a vehicle near Burlington.
The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says it happened at about 4:25 p.m. at M-60 and 10 ½ Mile Road.
Witnesses report the motorcycle was traveling east on M-60 when a vehicle pulled in front of it, causing the accident.
The injured woman was taken to Oaklawn Hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The accident is being investigated by the Calhoun County Reconstruction Team.
