DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The New Orleans Saints scored 35 consecutive points as they took down the Lions 35-29 in Detroit Sunday afternoon.
Tre’Quan Smith caught two touchdowns for New Orleans, which overcame an early 14-0 deficit. Latavius Murray rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns for the Saints. Drew Brees threw for 246 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Saints, who move to 2-and-2.
Matthew Stafford threw for 206 yards, three touchdowns and an interception for the Lions. Kenny Golladay, D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson caught touchdowns for Detroit, which is 1-and-3.

The NFL has officially moved Kansas City’s game with New England back a day after players on both teams tested positive for the coronavirus, with the contest set to kick off at 7:05 Eastern Time. The league also pushed back the start of Green Bay’s game with the Falcons to 8:50 p.m. as part of the switch.
Veteran Brian Hoyer will reportedly start at quarterback for New England with Cam Newton on the COVID-19 reserve list.
