COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The latest statistics on Branch County COVID-19 cases that were released this week by the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency show that almost one third of those who tested positive for the virus have been between the ages of 25 and 39.
Of the 601 cases reported as of Wednesday, a total of 204 were in that age category. The statistics also show that mostly young people have tested positive for the virus.
There were 98 cases for those between 40 and 49 followed by 85 cases in 18 to 24 year olds and 70 cases for those 17 and younger. A total of 144 cases were reported for those over the age of 50.
More men have tested positive for the virus in Branch County than women. The C.H.A. says there have been 374 cases for men compared to 227 for women
