COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater has announced that Todd Mistor will be taking over as the City’s
new Director of Municipal Services.
Mistor’s first day on the job was Monday. He will be reporting directly to City Manager Keith Baker.
Long time D.M.S. Director David Sattler is retiring. Sattler will be working with Mistor as part of the transition.
Mistor graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry.
He has worked for 11 years in both project management and city operations for the City of Detroit.
Mistor was Detroit’s Forestry Operations Manager, worked as a Freelance Project Manager for SilvaCity LLC. and was a Community Organizer with Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength (M.O.S.E.S).
As Coldwater’s Director of Municipal Services, Mistor will be a member of the City’s leadership team, giving
input and developing city-wide projects and programs.
Directing public works projects and municipal services for the City, he will oversee many operational areas, including city parks, stormwater management, cemetery, street, building, and motor pool management.
“I’m excited to be a part of the Coldwater community and to help the Department of Municipal Services continue to deliver quality amenities for all residents,” said Mistor.
Baker says, “We’re looking forward to having Todd in our organization. His extensive knowledge of arboriculture and large-scale project management is a tremendous asset for the community.”
