UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles scored on their opening possession of the game and they went to defeated the Union City Chargers 22-0 on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field.
The Orioles opening drive was capped on a six yard pass from Tae’Sean Bodley to Kyler Economou. They added another TD in the second quarter when Landen Kelly hit pay dirt with a 36 yard scamper.
Quincy was successful on both of the two point conversions and took a 16-0 lead into the half.
The Orioles scored the only touchdown of the second half. Bodley threw his second TD pass of the afternoon in the fourth quarter when he found Tyler Saterlee from 15 yards out.
Both teams will take 2-4 records into the opening round of the playoffs next week.
