COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Robert W. Browne Recreation Center will be open for additional hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting in November.
Correcting previous information from the city, plans call for the building to be open to the public between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on those days.
After being closed from the middle of March until early October due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the building is currently open Monday through Friday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..
The walking track is open as is individual court rental for tennis, pickleball and other individual or small group activities.
There is a screening process for entry into the building which include the taking of temperatures, completing a health questionnaire and wearing a mask.
Restrooms are available but the locker rooms are closed until further notice.
