DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Tigers list of candidates for manager will continue to grow with the end of the World Series.
The team is expected to interview A.J. Hinch and Alex Cora soon. According to the Detroit News, Tigers outfield coach Dave Clark met with general manager Al Avila about the position just after the end of the season.
Over a dozen candidates have been interviewed for the job, including interim manager Lloyd McClendon, Pittsburgh Pirates bench coach Don Kelly and Los Angeles Dodgers first-base coach George Lombard.
