KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Girls Varsity Swim Team won their second meet of the week on Thursday night as they defeated Kalamazoo Central 103-71.
The Cardinals won 9 of the 12 events, including all three relays swam by Jillian McKinley, Masyn Marsh, Anna DeMeester and Randi Dudek.
Coming home with individual wins for Coldwater was Maddie Garn in the 200 Freestyle, DeMeester in the 200 Individual Medley, Mia Rzepka in Diving, McKinley in the 100 Butterfly, Maddie Hardy in the 500 Freestyle and McKenna Stewart in the 100 Breaststroke.
Avery Boyce also came home with a qualifying win in Diving as she qualified for dive regionals. Boyce along with the other Coldwater divers, Mia Rzepka, Leah Goodwin, and Charlotte Calhoun have qualified for the post season dive regionals.
The Cards finish out their regular season next Thursday at the Browne Aquatic Center against Mattawan before hosting an end of season invite next Saturday.
