DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Indianapolis Colts are in Motown Sunday to clash with the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.
The Colts are coming off a bye after a 31-27 home win over the Bengals in Week Six. Indianapolis has won four of its last five games to sit second in the AFC South at 4-and-2.
The Lions have won their last two games over the Jaguars and Falcons to get back to .500 at 3-and-3. Detroit won 23-22 at Atlanta last Sunday on a touchdown pass with no time left on the clock.
Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin did not practice yesterday with a non-injury related issue. Corner Desmond Trufant was limited after being sidelined with an injured hamstring. Tackle Taylor Decker, running back Adrian Peterson and corner Darryl Roberts were also limited in drills yesterday with injuries.
The Lions will have a small crowd to cheer them on during Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Following state guidelines, up to 500 friends and family members of players and coaches will be in the stands this weekend.
Lions president and CEO Rod Wood said hosting friends and family on Sunday is a great step towards the goal of welcoming fans to Ford Field this season.
