BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Halloween trick or treating will still take place around Branch County but some other activities will not happen due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions.
The City of Coldwater is recommending Trick or Treating take place from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Other recommended Trick or Treat times around Branch County include 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Quincy, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Bronson and 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in Union City.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic along with the various restrictions and protocols, the annual Coldwater Halloween Parade is not taking place this year. In addition, the annual Halloween Parade and Safe Trick or Treat in Quincy and the Bronson Free Masons Trunk or Treat have been cancelled.
Residents who choose to participate in Halloween activities are being asked adhere to any public health recommendations from the Branch-St. Joseph-Hillsdale Community Health Agency. Any household with a positive COVID-19 case should not participate as well as individuals with symptoms.
