NORTH WEBSTER, IN (WTVB) – Branch County is included in a Wind Advisory which has been issued by the National Weather Service from 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon until 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Forecasters are calling for south to southwest winds between 20 and 30 miles an hour with gusts up to 45 mile an hour in portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.
They say gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could also be blown down and a few power outages may take place.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms will increase heading into the evening hours and a few of the showers could produce wind gusts over 50 miles an hour.
Drivers are being told to use extra caution especially if they are operating a high profile vehicle. Outdoor objects should also be secured.
