COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Varsity Girls Swim and Dive Team competed on opposite sides of the state Thursday night.
Four swimmers went to a last chance meet at L’Anse Creuse while three divers went to Hamilton to compete at dive regionals.
Both Charlotte Calhoun and Mia Rzepka made it to M.H.S.A.A. state meet by finishing 11th and 13th respectively at regionals.
Avery Boyce made it to the second round of diving and finished 20th.
Randi Dudek, Anna DeMeester, Masyn Marsh, and Jillian McKinley set a new team record in the 200 Freestyle Relay, but just missed a state relay time by .57.
The M.H.S.A.A. has changed their swimming and diving finals format due to COVID-19. Calhoun and Rzepka will dive next Friday while McKinley will swim on Saturday at Lake Orion High School.
