James “Jim” Nelson Cuthbert, 75, of Coldwater passed away at his home Monday, March 30, 2026.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Jim was born February 13, 195, in Coldwater to John G. Cuthbert and Margaret M. (Myers) Cuthbert. He later married Teresa J. VanDyke June 10, 1983. Jim and Teresa shared 47 years together.
He spent many years working in the tool and die industry, retiring from G & W Display in Bronson. Jim was known for his strong work ethic and enjoyed spending time outside fishing and hunting.
Jim is survived by his mother, Margaret Cuthbert; his wife, Teresa Cuthbert; his children, Angela Cuthbert, Eric Cuthbert, and Tara (Stephen) Ames; his brother, Gordon Cuthbert; and his grandchildren, Austin Snyder, Carter Ames, and Addison Ames.
He was preceded in death by his father, John G. Cuthbert.
