PORTLAND, MICH (WTVB) – The Colon Magi’s bid for a second straight Eight-Person Football state championship ended on Saturday afternoon as they lost at Portland Saint Patrick 44-34 in a Division Two regional title game.
St. Pat’s rallied to score 22 unanswered points in the final 7:16 after the Magi had built a 34-22 lead in the final quarter.
Colon’s Brandon Crawford had a big afternoon. He rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns. Crawford also two catches for 55 yards and a TD.
Colon finished the season at 7-2.
