COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In one form or another, there will be a Tibbits Summer Theater program in 2021.
Tibbits Executive Director Christine Delaney told the Downtown Development Authority during a ZOOM meeting on Wednesday of their plans after numerous changes had to be made this past summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shows from the 2020 Tibbits Summer Theater had to be moved outdoors to The Ponds because of state mandates which did not allow indoor theaters to be open.
Adjustments also had to be made to the original schedule because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Shows were presented as fully-staged reader’s theater and concert-style performances with small casts.
Seating also reflected social distancing recommendations.
