COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital has announced an update to its visitor restrictions which went into effect on Friday.
ProMedica went back to the level 2 visitor restriction which they had instituted before the surge in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations during the fall.
Until further notice, one visitor will be allowed for non-COVID-19 adult inpatients as well as for newly admitted patients in the emergency department. One visitor will also be allowed in the perioperative area and they can remain until the patient returns to their room. In addition, one visitor will be permitted in the ambulatory clinics.
Those in Hospice or at the end of their lives may have up to four visitors per day. The visitors can be under the age of 16 with permission of the healthcare team.
All hospital visitors will be required to wear masks.
