COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Community Foundation would like to welcome Jennifer Searles as the newest addition to the Community Foundation Board of Directors.
She has been a member of the Union City community for 45 years.
A graduate of Spring Arbor University, with a bachelor degree in education and a masters in counseling, Searles was a teacher in Union City for 19 years before joining the Branch Intermediate School District as a Career Development Coordinator.
She now is the Administrator for Career Development and the Branch County Early College.
Her board experience includes the Union City Community School Board and the Michigan School Counselor Association. She has served on many sub-committees for the Michigan Department of Education through the Office of Career and Technical Education, and she currently serves on the Community Foundation’s Scholarship committee as well.
