HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale Police Department has been busy over the last several days as there was a stabbing last Saturday and a shooting incident in the city on Tuesday night.
It’s not known if the incidents were related. Hillsdale Police say two vehicles were involved in the Tuesday night shooting incident which took place at about 6:05 p.m. in the area of East Bacon Street and West Street.
One of the vehicles was described as a light colored silver or blue four door passenger car with round tail lights which was occupied by two individuals.
The second vehicle is possibly a black or dark in color Chevrolet Lumina.

Meanwhile, three persons have been charged in connection with last Saturday’s stabbing. 22-year-old Brent Jacob Risner of Hillsdale, 20-year-old Brock Ian Adams of Pittsford and 20-year-old Maya Leigh VanBuskirk are all facing first degree home invasion charges.
In addition, Risner and Adams are facing charges of assault with intent to murder.
Risner is also facing a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. Possession of methamphetamine charges were filed against Adams and VanBuskirk.
Hillsdale Police Chief Scott Hephner told the Hillsdale Daily News the unnamed stabbing victim was released from the hospital last Saturday.
