BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – There are some winter high school sports in Michigan that can still be played.
One of them is bowling and Bronson started their season on Monday afternoon by splitting with Coloma at the Bronson Strike Zone.
Coloma won the boys match 16-14 while Bronson took the girls match 28-2.
Nic Cranson led the Bronson boys with a 359 series which included the Vikings high game of 189.
Savannah Taylor led the Bronson girls with a two game series total of 275 while Aubrey Weinberg had the high game with a 148.
The Coldwater and Quincy bowling squads are scheduled to open their seasons on Tuesday afternoon. Coldwater will be at Jackson Lumen Christi while Quincy at Manchester.
The Coldwater boys swimming team is scheduled to open their season Tuesday evening with a tri meet at Bridgman.
