Richard O.E. Hutchins, 73, of Quincy, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1947 to O.E and Kathryn (McNall) Hutchins. He married Karen Irwin on May 31, 1968 and she survives.
He was passionate about farming with which he did his entire life. He attended Michigan State University and received a certificate in farming. Richard was a member of the Hillsdale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Richard was a family man and loved his family dearly.
Surviving besides his wife, Karen are three daughters, Tammie Hutchins, Shelley (Stan) Mundy, Nicole Hutchins all of Quincy; one son, Corey (Jennifer) Hutchins of Quincy; two granddaughters, Keanna and Jaylen Mundy; and siblings, Judith (Dan) Dobson and James (Janice) Hutchins both of Quincy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Richard O.E. Hutchins will be private. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the family of Richard Hutchins.
