COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Points were hard to come by at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium on Tuesday night as Coldwater lost to Jackson Lumen Christi 31-22 in an Interstate 8 girls basketball game.
Coldwater did not make a field goal in the first half but were only down 12-6 at halftime.
The Cardinals started the second half with a 8-1 spurt to take a 14-13 lead but the Titans eventually led 19-16 after the third quarter and outscored Coldwater in the fourth quarter 12-6.
Coldwater won the JV game over Lumen Christi 30-22. Jaelah Sloan led the Cardinals with eight points while Emma Porter had six points.
In other girls basketball action on Tuesday night, Bronson lost their season opener to Leslie 51-35. Meagan Lasky led Bronson with 15 points.
