JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Hanover-Horton swept Quincy on Thursday afternoon at Jax 60 Lanes by scores of 24-6 in the boys match and 17-13 in the girls match.
Quincy’s girls won six out of 10 points in the baker games. Just 33 pins separated the two teams in game one of singles with Alyssa Milliman, Peran Reif, and Carlie McKinley all scoring for the Lady Os. Hanover took overall 737-704. McKinley and Reif would be the only points in game two head to head but solid efforts from the five tied the totals for the two teams splitting those points. Those 33 pins would be the deciding factor as Hanover went on to win 17-13.
In the boys match, Quincy captured game 1 of bakers by seven pins but that’s when Hanover started to heat up throwing a 212 Baker and taking overall pins as well. Quincy battled through game one of singles with points by Dylan Bean and Cody Neusbaum. It was all Hanover from there. Leading all scorers for the night was Ben Childs of Hanover with a 267 game.
