Legg 8th grade boys basketball teams win at Hastings

HASTINGS, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School boys basketball teams both won at Hastings on Saturday.

The eighth grade A team picked up their second victory over Hastings 49-39. Niko Downs led the balanced scoring with 20 points. Ayden Dirschell added ten points while Kendall Austin had seven points.

The eighth grade B team also defeated Hastings 33-22 for their first victory of the season. Vincent Braughman led Coldwater with 18 points followed by Mason Grawbowski with nine points.  Denver Heator controlled the boards with twelve rebounds.
