PARMA, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinals are still unbeaten in the Interstate 8 after they won Thursday night at Parma Western 59-53.
Coldwater had to rally in the final quarter and they had to overcome a career-high 30 points by Western’s Trey Cottingham.
The Cardinals were led by Brandon Downs with 23 points while Ethan Crabtree had 13 points and nine rebounds.
Evan Sloan led the Cardinals in rebounding as he grabbed 10 boards.
Crabtree and Spencer Rodesiler both had four steals and two assists.
The win improved Coldwater’s record to 4-0.
Coldwater won the J.V. game 49-43. Elijah Sloan led Coldwater with 19 points and eight rebounds. Grant Carter had nine points and four rebounds. Gavin Budd had eight points, five assists and five steals.
