ADAMS TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Three persons including two juveniles were injured Tuesday morning when their vehicle crashed into a tree in Hillsdale County’s Adams Township.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says one of the juveniles was flown out by Survival Flight to Michigan Medicine’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
They say the crash happened at about 8:20 a.m. on State Road between Mauck and Gay Roads when a 2017 Jeep Compass driven by 28-year-old Jessica Kiplinger of Osseo went out of control while going through a curve. The vehicle then left the road and struck the tree.
Kiplinger and a second juvenile were taken by the Reading Emergency Unit to Hillsdale Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the crash. They were assisted by the Adams and Hillsdale Township Fire Departments, the Michigan State Police and the Reading Emergency Unit.
